Owe this to you for quite some time. GREAT LA Desert Ascension package run Lady Galadriell and Ed The Poweful Man! The game is so much more fun now that I keep on dying every now and then. It was definitely worth every single piece of gold.

However I don't see how pRYD could have better runners than LBS seeing as we require a detailed screening process and an admission fee, whereas i'm not even certain pRYD requires an application. Of course, both guilds do provide running services and both are quite successful, however, pRYD seem to be quite arrogant about their running, whereas LBS don't have to brag.

I'd like to add to this any such statement in my opinion shows a lack of respect towards both parties involved.
You should never compare two runners (or groups of runners in this case) in such a way you just did unless you actually have solid arguements that you can base it on which I do not see here.

As far as im concerned all LBS teaches is the droks run basics that every pRYD runner can do with ease and i dont see how ur screening process of "passing" this droks run which is quite the easy run shows anything to do with being the better runner or not. I mean sure I bet some of ur runners are quite skilled without a doubt and I am sure that some of our runners are equally skilled at running. U talk about screening process and an admission fee but all that shows is u are selective of ur runners to being capable of having the funds to provide themselves of their own running gear and such which is being discrimitive against people who cant afford to have such gear. Im not saying that its impossible to make it back but getting there in the first place of having enough funds for 15 ectos does take time and it isnt doable in 1 day for new players. Also it wasnt US that posted the comment of pRYD > LBS i am SURE that boondocksaints will do something about that comment due to it being biased. Lets not make a further issue of this matter and thx for the free bumps btw .

Well, I'm back again for another free bump then, as your thread is already on the top anyway heheh.

You should get better informed before posting stuff like this, passing the Drok's run is not part of the LBSRA screening process, the Drok's run is just one aspect of graduation.
The screening process is mainly focussed on getting to know the people we're dealing with and allows us to ensure a potential future member is a respectful, loyal and mature person.
This way LBSRA can continue to meet up to the high standards it's known for.

Well I feel you need to get better information. Before joining LBSRA I had no running experience. I have been taught a great many of the hardest runs in the game. We have many resources and materials available for virtually all if not every hard run in the game. We provide in-game assistance for whatever query a member has and the information taught allows us to provide the runs with the highest standard possible.

I see no reason whatsoever why someone cannot raise 15 ectos. It is very very easy to do so now. There are tons of builds for every class on farming which means if someone wanted to join they could find a way to raise the gold. I was broke when I showed my interest in LBSRA yet in the space of a day I raised the gold and was able to pay it to her. This was back in late September/early October when ectos cost 10k each so it was not 100k but 150k.

I'm sorry but if you cant raise ectos (around 105k) then I dont think you are prepared to join LBS anyways, which is another reason we have an admission fee, it siphons out the moochers who join free academies only for their personal gain. LBS isnt just a running academy its a whole learning community who helps eachother out, it is not just about making money.

Default LBS > pRYD > LBS? Who cares?

Enough said.

I am an officer in pRYD and I think we have a great guild and a great reputation. Are we better than LBS? Who knows? There isn't really a way to measure it anyway but I think when it comes to services in game we can give anyone a run for their money (pardon the pun).

Bottom line is, I don't care if we are better. They are a fantastic guild and I give them all the respect in the world. I know that they have contributed some awesome posts in these very forums that have helped me become a better runner (thanks Me No Fat). I have done the same to help others and do it in game regularly.

We do not have a formal application process for our guild, it isn't our style, but we do bring people on board who have showed talent for running and at least a modicum of decency and maturity. If those recruits fail to maintain a high standard we send them packing.

If you have issues with one of our runners, please message me in game and let me know the issue (Stool Cannon).

I would request that our customers always continue to give us the respect of great feedback (or otherwise if it is warranted) but I would also request that it isn't flavored with a derogatory spin on LBS or any other guild for that matter.

We in pRYD do take our reputation seriously and that includes being respectful to our customers as well as our competition.

This is a fun game and I would prefer to keep it that way.

Thanks

Stool Cannon (and yes, I do mean a cannon that fires fecal matter)

Well said poopy er...stool cannon, glad to see this won't turn into an argument that the mods have to close the thread. I guess we are just two different running academies that work and think in their own ways yet still please customers. It is good to have other running academies out there as well and I wish pRYD luck in the future for their business.
